Thank you for joining me on my journey to find true peace and meaning in life while living authentically! I hope you find what you read here funny, inspiring, challenging, and even heartwarming at times. If it pisses you off, GOOD! This is MY truth and MY journey. I learned a lesson in 1990 from a movie called “Defending Your Life” (Meryl Streep and Albert Brooks). Obviously I recommend seeing it — it changed my life! But to save you doing that and coming back to finish the story, I’ll summarize it for you. When you die, you sit before a panel of judges to — you guessed it — defend your life.
What do you defend? You ask a great question! Whether or not you overcame FEAR. If you’ve sufficiently overcome the appropriate levels of fears during your lifetime, you ascend to the next level. I loved that it left the destination open to your own faith. If, in fact, you miserably failed, faltered, and never took chances — guess what pepper — you got sent back to earth to do it again. That’s HELL, in my opinion!
Sadly, somewhere along the way, I lost my footing and forgot that valuable lesson. But, peppers, it’s BACK and the creativity is flowing!
